Dr. Kassim completed his undergraduate studies, medical school training, and residency in orthopedics at the American University of Beirut, followed by completing a fellowship in adult reconstruction at the University of Minnesota in the USA.
Dr. Kassim has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals as well chapters in several books. He gave several presentations on the national and international level. His main interest is in the surgery and follows up of complex hip and knee reconstruction with special emphasis on infected total joint. He was part of several outcome projects conducted on hip and knee. Currently, he is working on infected joint project in Lebanon.
